ICD Group Members

ICD Group members are proudly independent agricultural and horticultural merchants, deeply rooted in their local communities and united by a shared commitment to supporting New Zealand’s growers. Our network comprises 11 member businesses operating from 22 locations nationwide, each bringing strong regional expertise and a shared focus on delivering value to farmers and growers.

Collectively, our members generate more than $260 million in annual revenue and employ 218 people — including 82 agronomists — supporting more than 5,000 farmers and growers throughout New Zealand.

Together, our member businesses combine local knowledge with ICD Group’s national strength, delivering practical, trusted advice and tailored solutions that reflect the unique conditions of each region. Independence enables our merchants to remain flexible, responsive, and focused on what matters most — helping farmers and growers succeed.

At the farm gate, our member businesses act as trusted partners in performance — supporting farmers and growers to make informed decisions, not simply purchase products.  Our members provide deep technical expertise grounded in local experience. Their teams work directly alongside customers to deliver practical, tailored advice.

This includes:

  • Agronomic advice across cropping and pastoral systems, including crop planning, pasture management, and soil health
  • Input strategy recommendations, covering product selection, timing, and integrated solutions
  • System optimisation, such as crop rotations, feed planning, and stocking rates
  • Guidance on new technologies and practices, helping bridge the gap between research and on-farm adoption

Backed by the nationwide ICD network, members businesses are built on strong relationships, integrity, and a genuine commitment to sustainable, productive outcomes for New Zealand’s agricultural and horticultural sectors.

ICD Group is proud to represent New Zealand’s leading independent agricultural and horticultural merchants…
